Confession: I’m not a hater I just have a different opinion

Confession: I’m not a hater I just have a different opinion

I get a lot of hate thrown at me when I try to give my opinion.

If I’m being honest, I get a lot of people asking me for my opinion.

I give it how it is. Black and white. No fucking grey, ever.

But for some the “truth” hurts so they call me a hater.

I sometimes get the jealous card thrown in too.

So, after much reflection, I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of people confuse honesty with hatred or jealousy.

Let’s be clear:

I’m not out to get anyone.

I don’t get jealous for someone else’s success.

And, I definitely don’t have this “I can do better attitude”.

When I give advice, I stick to my core-desired feelings.

I speak my truth.

If you don’t like my answer, then deal with it yourself.

Stop calling me a hater you self-righteous prick.

It’s not hateful to disagree with another person.

It’s not hateful to have different opinions on things.

It’s definitely not hateful to express your opinions either.

I cringe knowing that “haters” has become a way to dismiss someone’s opinion.

I truly don’t care what people think about me because I’m not afraid to say how it is.

I don’t even brag that I’ve got haters.

Saying things like “F* all my haters” on social media is seriously dumb.

But sometimes I think that maybe those people genuinely don’t like me.

Other times, I think they just can’t handle the truth.

If you’re asking me for advice, then you’re already someone who values my opinion and you already kinda know what I’ll say.

So if you don’t like it, don’t ask.

So please the next time you want to call someone a hater, please know that the only person who will always say you’re right is your mother.

Oh and by the way, I still love you, HATERZZZ.
